Who better to explore the gothic side of fashion than the illustrious team of Craig McDean, Karl Templer and Sasha Pivovarova. With an eye for the atypical and a brooding ferocity that works it’s way into every image, the team creates an expressive vision with a dark twist in the pages of Interview Magazine. With pieces from Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton and Tom Ford the story focuses on larger than life fashion, rejecting the convention that Spring stories need to be light, bright and filled with saccharine florals. With an inky black coif courtesy of Orlando Pita and understated makeup by Diane Kendal, Sasha is appropriately spooky and adds flair to McDean’s dramatic images.
